10 nights in Egypt

the different faces/phases of Rice

Exam : tomorrow
0800 breakfast : white rice with a fried egg and some soya sauce
1300 lunch : fried rice with dried shrimps ( udang kering/ he bi ) and dried anchovies ( ikan bilis ), added some   thick soya sauce.
1900 dinner : remaining of rice boiled into porridge ( moi ) added some garlic, ginger and 1/2 a chicken cube and of course some soya sauce again..

ALL ingredients mentioned are all that i have in my kitchen. i AM a very lazy bum!

a long series of events

1) bad quarrel about relationship issues
2) plan to Egypt for winter went hay-wire due to multiple reasons
3) saw some gruesome autopsies russian style.
4) landlord asking for May 2011's rent and i had thought i could stop taking money from pa in advance. !!!
 5) xmas present shopping.... everywhr sales. yoohoo. so i bought 2 new sets of outfits for me me me.
6) but wondering why the holiday mood hasn't kick in yet
7) christmas eve dinner ala arabia ( had fun with all them shisha virgins ) :) yay! party was then crashed by shek,   manu n lovely katia.
8) xmas celebration on xmas day in claire's church. ~~ lala~white christmas~~ put on falsies for the first time. hehe. not bad not bad, esp for claire.
9) steamboat with lifen and making tang yuan avatar inspired. election day. i was secretary. typical results and i was kinda disappointed in general. but am glad abang won. new face, new hope.
10) went for first facial treatment after years of consideration. 700 rubs in exchange for a worse complexion. this is not a negative review but it just shows my acne's a big old bitch. gotta think of new methods to counter attack it. i cant believe 6 years in cold cold russia my skin hasn't gotten better. i am cursed for real! god, take my life, give good skin pls !
11) new year eve party in gordon's house. sumbody didnt want sumbody to come, created a heck of a tension. simple people dont get in trouble and vice versa. life is simple for people to complicate it. At 12 sharp, we were under the xmas tree in center on town. one last time. shek cried.
12) complexion got worse. i just cant bear to go out like this.
13)  1st jan celebration with the guys n girls of shek's floor. these people always keep me entertained. muacks u guys! all laughs n jokes n dance n finger-licking good food. 
14) Egypt plan totally crushed to pieces. A friend just got back from thr, said it was so fun. Hmph. i'll shop more now here instead. i have the cash but no explanation to pa why no pictures of egypt?
15) Jenna's bday. i remembered clearly how bad she felt and how bad i too felt when everybody forgot her first bday in russia. poor girl, gotta surprise her this time but plan backfired. both sides went OMG!
16) ah~ now a few days of rest. went to jar pizza with shek then coffee in shokolatnitsa. had a good  laugh from the heart about cutting straws. i love this guy to the max for the many many times he makes me laugh like tht.
17) thought of the computer games i use to play for hours at a stretch when i was still a kid and i downloaded pizza connection 2 again and was back to being a kid. also played real netball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. thats good after all the food we had.
18) bought aka's n doris bday presents from mango n promod, a skirt and a bag. both cute. then went on to hostel to celebrate aka's bday and to give her a dose of my amateur belly dance.
19) dinner with manu n katia celebrating the russian orthodox christmas on the 7th. brought some of miz n bake cupcakes over for them. yummy as hell.
19) Egypt for winter is back once again! Happier now! waiting for cheaper ticket price.
20) bombed up opponents headquarters in Pizza connection 2. and told myself again n again i gotta start studying for my paper on the 21st. shiat!
